Jon emerged from the hotbed of soccer that is in Naperville. Jon's enthusiasm for soccer remains undimmed after more than 23 years of magnificent service to the game. Jon’s affable character belies a great determination to develop the vast array of glittering youngsters into footballers ready to play at the very highest level.
Jon Davit received his youth development from the Naperville Travel Club Lightning and the Lisle Travel Club Stingers. With the Lightning he reached the finals of the largest tournament in Northern America, the USA Cup in Blaine, Minnesota. After attending Naperville North High School and leading his varsity team as a striker, being named to the all-conference team, he moved onto Northern Illinois University where he walked on as a freshman in 2001. Jon played outside mid and up top as a striker for most of his collegiate career.
